Ollantaytambo, Peru
On June 4, 2004, Ollantay Secondary School became the first
school in South America to adopt the Companion Flag. Located
at the north end of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Ollantay
Secondary School's Companion Flag and its host flag, the flag
of Peru, are visible from the many Incan ruins and mountain
pathways that look down on Ollantaytambo.
