Students, educators, and parents around the world are taking a leading role in introducing the Companion Flag in their communities. Adding the Companion Flag – a gentle reminder of all that human beings have in common – below flags already on display on school grounds, or in classrooms, promotes a new, dynamic social justice vision. It encourages students to honor all parts of themselves: their differences, diversity and special affiliations, as well as all that they share in common with each other, and with people everywhere!
