The 2003 Multicultural Assembly at Seattle's Ingraham High School was a perfect setting for the school's adoption of the Companion Flag!

Following a flag procession and introductory remarks by Principal Steve Wilson, ASB President Xiao Wang, and CFSI's Scott Wyatt, the audience was treated to a fashion show of indigenous costumes as well as remarkable performances of music, songs, and dances from around the world.

This was a day of celebration, not only of our differences and diversity, but of the "universals" that underlie those differences: the love of music, and the desire to express oneself (and affiliate with others) through costume and dance.
