Students from Seattle's Hamilton International Middle School and John Stanford International School entertained a large gathering of business women and men at the 2nd Annual International Business Breakfast in downtown Seattle on November 13, 2003.

In addition to singing songs about the shared experiences, concerns and desires of people the world over, the students staged a procession of national flags and Companion Flags from around the world.

The Companion Flag portion of the program was punctuated by a stirring address from Hamilton 8th grader Malcolm Yates. Malcolm explained what the Companion Flag means to him in light of today's terrorist activities around the world—repeating an address he wrote and delivered at Hamilton during the school's 9/11 assembly this fall.
