Institución Educativa Ollantay, a secondary school in historic
Ollantaytambo, Peru, adopted the Companion Flag on June 4, 2004. Ollantay
is the first school to fly the Companion Flag in South America!
Special thanks to Director Domingo Ariza Rojas, and
all the teachers, students, and staff of Institución Educativa
Ollantay.
Thanks also to Hamilton International Middle School
in Seattle, and especially Susan Ranney, HIMS Director of International
Studies, for providing a new Peruvian flag and Companion Flag for
its sister school in Peru!

Ollantaytambo is located in the
Sacred Valley of the Incas,
near Machu Picchu
