NEW DELHI - October 22, 2005. Thanks to the vision and hard work of
Companion Flag Ambassador Mrs. Priti Sehgal, Mann Public School has
become the first Companion Flag School in New Delhi!

In a memorable ceremony under brilliant morning skies,
students and faculty celebrated their historic role as champions of
the Companion Flag not only in this important capital city, but throughout
the the world. The school's first Companion Flag, topped with a saffron
stripe, was unfurled to the sound of bugles and enthusiastic applause.

Mr. Madhukar Priya, in charge of the Companion Flag at the school, addressed
the assembly, explaining the significance of the Companion Flag. Mrs.
Sehgal also spoke, sharing with the students the history of the Companion
Flag and where else in the world it is flying. She read a greeting and
message of congratulations from Companion Flag founder Scott Wyatt,
and presented a Certificate of Recognition to School Director J. S.
Mann.

Following the ceremony, Mann Public School
Principal H.C. Chhikara announced that Companion Flag Day will become
